All my friends know I’m a diet freak. I don’t have bulimia, nor am I anorexic, in fact, I am a food lover! This is why I need to watch my food intake. I tried Slim Fast before, which is a meal plan that has healthful aspects like exercise and drinking 6-8 cups of water which is found in any weight loss plan. The Slim Fast shakes come in six packs with different flavors such as Cappuccino Delight, Creamy Milk Chocolate, French Vanilla, Rich Chocolate Royale, and Strawberries N’ Cream.Yummy!

Actually, if you take in stuff that has Chitosan as an ingredient, it should act as an effective dieting tool. Chitosan is named after the fiber derived from the exoskeleton of shellfish and other crustaceans that act as a major source for blocking fats, ideal for after a meal which is heavy in fat because it can be consumed without worries by taking two tablets before the rich meal.

There are other forms of dietary help that comes in pills. I don’t really fancy using Amphetamine because it’s not natural and there are certain side effects, in any case, it’s good for people with certain disorders so I don’t think I should take those pills unnecessarily.

Personally, I don’t like using Xenadrine either because it’s a synthetic drug. Although Xenadrine contains Vitamins Panthothenic Acid, Thermodyne Complex, and Magnesium and out of these Panthothenic acid breaks down the carbohydrates, proteins and fats, it just doesn’t seem right to me. The thermogenic concept of Xendrine helps to increase the metabolic rate and to burn unwanted body fat and the nootrogenic aspect helps to enhance positive mental function and control appetite.

Anyway, if you really want to lose weight naturally, I think a healthy, balanced diet and exercise ought to do. Although it’s slow, but it’s the natural way to be healthy, don’t you think?

CBS/EliteXC SATURDAY NIGHT FIGHTS

EliteXC and Ken Shamrock Entertainment announced today that MMA Legend and UFC Hall of Fame member Ken Shamrock will face off with internet sensation Kimbo Slice on the next edition of CBS/EliteXC Saturday Night Fights, live on Saturday, October 4, in primetime (from 9-11 p.m. ET/PT) on CBS Television Network.

“Ken Shamrock was our number one choice for this fight and I am very happy to announce that he has agreed to take on Kimbo Slice,” states, Jeremy Lappen, Head of Fight Operations for EliteXC. “This is a great match up. MMA fans will not be disappointed!”

Ken Shamrock is undoubtedly one of the most recognizable names in MMA history and is one of MMA’s greatest athletes. With over 15 years in the sport Ken Shamrock has fought 40 professional fights, 25 Pancrase fights, and is one of only five UFC fighters to be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.

“I welcome this opportunity. Kimbo has had some success, he’s big, he’s strong and he hits with heavy hands, but anybody that is a veteran in this sport understands that unless you have a lot of time in the ring, you have not been tested completely,” states Shamrock. “Kimbo’s ground skills have not yet been tested, and I have the ability to test him. He hasn’t seen anything yet.”

Slice gained fame as a street brawling You Tube legend and is now one of the newest faces of the fastest growing sport in the world. The MMA world seems to have a love hate relationship with Slice. Some welcome his charisma and ability to attract the uninitiated, but many MMA elitists strongly voice that Kimbo has not earned his success.

If any fighter possesses the credentials to test the weaknesses of Kimbo Slice, it is the Legendary Ken Shamrock.

EliteXC’s Saturday Night Fights debut on CBS was the most watched live MMA event ever with a reported 4.9 million viewers. EliteXC’s next highly anticipated event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, Fla.
